Email is the way to reach me: hello@frugalcalculators.com. I read what arrives and reply when I can.
Reporting a wrong number or a bug
Every scenario is carried in the page’s address. Copy the address bar from the calculator and paste it into your email, and I will see exactly the inputs you ran. Then say which figure looks wrong and what you expected instead — even a rough “this seems too high” is enough to start from.
Reports of logical errors are the most useful thing anyone can send. The models check their own accounting on every build (the model integrity page shows the checks), but a check can only catch the mistakes somebody thought to look for.
Out-of-date figures
Tax brackets, contribution limits and the health-plan defaults change every year. Each methodology page lists where its figures come from; if one has been superseded, a link to the new source is all I need.
Suggestions
Ideas for an input that is missing, a decision that deserves its own calculator, or an explanation that did not make sense are all welcome.
What I cannot help with
I cannot advise on your own situation — whether you can afford a house, which plan suits your health, or what to do with your money. The calculators show what follows from the assumptions you give them; for a decision that rests on your circumstances, a fee-only financial planner, a tax professional or your benefits office is the right person to ask.
If you email, your address and message are used only to reply to you. The privacy policy has the details.
